libera me de
morte æterna
March 2023
The work is a personal and historical reflection on the suffering and oppression of queer people in a heteronormative world. It shows how the LGBTQ+ community has faced violence and exclusion from the Holocaust to the AIDS crisis to the ISIS killings. It also expresses the author's own journey and identity as a young gay man. The work contrasts the past and the present, the collective and the individual, to explore oneself and society.
